Join us for our virtual information session on the Goldwater Scholarship on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, 4:00pm – 4:45pm. The session provides an overview of the scholarship, eligibility criteria and tips on how to prepare. Harvard College students interested in these national scholarships must first apply for the College endorsement/nomination. Eligibility requirements and instructions on how to apply for the scholarship nomination can be found here. The deadline for the scholarship nomination application is Wednesday, October 26, 11:59pm Eastern Time.
The Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Program was authorized by the United States Congress in 1986 to honor Senator Barry M. Goldwater, who served his country for 56 years as a soldier and statesman, including 30 years of service in the U.S. Senate. The purpose of the Program is to help alleviate a critical current and future shortage of highly qualified scientists, mathematicians, and engineers. Learn more about the national scholarship here.
