William Lyon Mackenzie King Scholarship

The Right Honourable William Lyon Mackenzie King Scholarship is a fellowship which supports one year of study at a Canadian university. Preference will be given to candidates pursuing study that relates to Canada or Canadian interests. Programs may not, however, be pre-professional in nature.
Applicants must be graduating Harvard College seniors of any citizenship/residency status, and at least a 3.5 GPA.
Awardees receive an approximately 4,000 CAD stipend to offset tuition at a Canadian university.

- Proof of admissions application submission
- 2 letters of recommendation
Applications for this opportunity are assessed on the following metrics:
- Academic rigor
- Ambassadorial potential
- Study area (preference for Canadian history, culture, resources, etc.)
Applications are read by staff and faculty selection committee. There are no interviews. Awards are made in late April.
