Jasmine Stecker
Jasmine Stecker is an Assistant Director within the Office of Undergraduate Research and Fellowships responsible for the Summer Humanities and Arts Research Program (SHARP), various URAF-administered fellowships, and undergraduate advising. She also mentors black Harvard College students through the Greener Scott Scholars Program. Jasmine joins URAF from Harvard Medical School where she focused on elevating underrepresented in medicine graduate student success through research and fellowship experiences. Jasmine received a Master’s in Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education and has earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Music Performance from Michigan State University and Boston Conservatory respectively.
Jasmine welcomes students seeking guidance regarding navigating application timelines and materials, navigating scholarship networks, and identifying suitable opportunities. Programs for which Jasmine advises include UK Scholarships (Harvard-Cambridge, Harvard-UK, Rhodes, Marshall, Mitchell, Keasbey, St Andrews), Summer Humanities and Arts Research Program, Gaither Junior Fellows Program at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, Postgraduate Travel Fellowships.
