Tom Hamel
Associate Director, Research and Fellowships
TOM HAMEL (617.495.8126) is the associate director of the Office of Undergraduate Research and Fellowships. He oversees day-to-day supervision of student programming, leads administrative management of the fellowships program, and advises undergraduates. Before joining the URAF team, Tom served as Senior International Admissions Officer at Harvard College, responsible for recruitment and evaluation activities for undergraduate applicants representing more than 80 countries. A native of Methuen, MA, he holds an AB degree from Harvard College and an EdM degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
